Skimming through the 11 points presented by to “Rescue Vespucci”, we should be alarmed. It is a blueprint to introduce an authoritarian theocracy run by a select few. I wish to deconstruct each of the 11 points to highlight how the solutions proposed are anti-democratic, anti-egalitarian, and despite claims otherwise, anti-libertarian.

3. Safety and Crime – Cracking Down on Political Unrest
4. Immigration – Good Fences Enforce Good Neighbours
5. Economy / Growth – Justifying Disparity
6. Government Reform and Debt – Starve the Beast, But Not Really
7. Fair, Fraud-Free Elections – Trust but Verify and then Overrule
8. Family – Mid-Century Modern Mania
9. Gender, Life, Science – Ambiguity and Uncertainty Have Got to Go
10. Religious Liberty / Big Tech – Taking Back Cancel Culture
11. Vespucci First – Vespucci Only

I wish to show that there is absolutely nothing new in the “11-Point Plan to Rescue Vespucci”, and that this plan is essentially a rehash of traditionally conservative values that had worked to the benefit of a specific group of people in a bygone era.
